Welcomes You to Raleigh

Capital Area Visitor Center, established in 1976 as a welcome and information center for the North Carolina government complex in Raleigh—the capital city since 1792—welcomes school groups, clubs and organizations, sightseers, and families. It offers a variety of free services to the public. Visitor Services coordinates visits by groups of ten or more to state-owned government and cultural attractions. Your group contact person should get in touch with Visitor Services two or more weeks in advance of your planned visit.
