This is the place to find out what other clubs are doing!

2010-2011

  • Aquadale Explorers, Norwood
The Aquadale Explorers visited the North Carolina Museum of History in February and participated in a Hands On Heritage class.  The club also visited the Tar Heel Junior Historian gallery to see their winning projects from last year’s contests on display.

  • Freaks of History, Raleigh
Members of the Freaks of History club dressed up in Colonial garb to promote the Village of Yesteryear at the North Carolina State Fair.  They played Colonial games and encouraged fairgoers to see the hand-made crafts in the exhibit.

Freaks of History

  • Homeschoolers Unfolding History, Johnston County
The Homeschoolers Unfolding History, Homeschoolers Unfolding North Carolina History, and Homeschoolers Unfolding State History clubs have been busy!  The club celebrated its eleventh anniversary in August.  Club members danced the Virginia Reel in the Folk Festival at the North Carolina State Fair.  And the club visited Raleigh to see the Discover the Real George Washington: New Views from Mount Vernon traveling exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of History.
