The North Carolina Museum of History offers several different kinds of educational resources for teachers and their students.
Our media programs are designed to enhance your lesson plans and to provide students with visual learning experiences. Most videos and slide programs come with curriculum activity packets to help busy teachers create interesting, fun lesson plans. Standard Course of Study links are listed with each title.
Videos and slides are available for loan for one week at a charge of $1 per program—maximum of $10 (you pay return shipping). Orders must be received no later than the Wednesday before the Friday shipping date.

These multidisciplinary teaching tools provide you with background materials, reproduction artifacts, lessons, and activities that tie North Carolina history with language arts, science, math, and visual art.
All kits are available for loan for three weeks at no charge (you pay return UPS shipping).
