Adviser of the Year

The 2008 Adviser of the Year is Elaine Forman. Now in her eighth year as adviser of Homeschoolers Unfolding History, Public Library of Johnston County and Smithfield, Smithfield, she has helped her club by lining up informative speakers, planning field trips, and scheduling days to assist members with their many THJHA contest entries. In recognition of the numerous ways she volunteers her time and inspires excellence in her club members, the Tar Heel Junior Historian Association proudly names her Adviser of the Year.
