American Indian Heritage Celebration

25th Annual American Indian Heritage Celebration

Enjoy video recordings of presentations from the American Indian Heritage Celebration, held as an online experience on November 20 and 21, 2020.

From fancy dancing to pine-needle baskets . . . and so much more! Named a Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society for the past five years, artists, performers, scholars, historians, and other representatives from North Carolina’s eight state-recognized tribes and four Urban Indian Organizations will share their skills, knowledge, and cultural heritage over two days of virtual events.

You’ll engage virtually with presenters in interactive live-streamed events and enjoy on-demand videos of performances, and more! Register for your virtual seat, and view performances, panel discussions, and demonstrations from the safety and comfort of your own home or classroom. Attendance to some free events is limited.
