(CANCELED) American Woven Counterpanes Workshop

Saturday, Sept. 12, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., through Sunday, Sept. 13, noon–5 p.m.

Calling experienced weavers! This two-day round-robin workshop with Patricia Donald will include instruction, a generous notebook on counterpanes, and at least 15 sample patterns and drafts. The Museum of History will provide a unique opportunity to view historic counterpanes from the museum collection.

Patricia Donald has studied counterpanes for almost 20 years. She is a member of Complex Weaver’s Early Weaving Books and Manuscripts and Coverlet and Counterpanes study groups. She has also been an instructor at the John C. Campbell Folk School.

$280 plus taxes due at registration. June 15, 2020 is the deadline for a full refund.

10 participants maximum. A waiting list will be kept. Participants must provide own looms.
