All Naval Services Day

Saturday, June 16, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.

Help honor the service and sacrifice of North Carolinians who served in the U.S. NavyU.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard during World War I.

Experience living history reenactments and check out artifacts from the collections of the Battleship North Carolina. Hear two fascinating presentations, listed below in the "Schedule of Events."

Trace back your lineage to the "Great War" at the WWI Service Card search station!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

11 a.m.
Event begins. Reenactors will be on lobby level and third floor throughout event. 
WWI NC Service Card Search will be available throughout event.

11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Si Harrington's will give a presentation on the "Impact of Naval Services on WWI" in the museum's Demo Box

1-2 p.m.
NC State University's Professor Lee Craig will deliver a presentation on the story of native son Josephus Daniels' impact on the war. The Museum's "Daniels Auditorium" is named after the Daniels family.

3 p.m.
The event will conclude.
