Film Screening: The Boomer List

Thursday, December 7, 6:30 p.m.

Tim Boyum, Anchor, Capital Tonight, Spectrum News

As filmmaker/photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders compiled portraits for his baby-boomer project, he interviewed the subjects about their lives and struggles, their careers and achievements, and their dreams, as well as the history they lived through—and often created. This PBS American Masters documentary (90 minutes) is the result and features intimate discussions with the 19 extraordinary Americans he chose to profile. Boyum will introduce the film. Allow time before or after the show to visit the traveling exhibit on Level 3.

The Boomer List was developed by the Newseum—an interactive museum of news located in Washington, DC, and online at—in collaboration with AARP, the exclusive sponsor of The Boomer List exhibit; this local presentation of The Boomer List was made possible by MOHA, the Museum of History Associates, and the Museum of History Foundation.
