Testimonials from parents

"We love History Hunters and History Corner and are so grateful for all that you pour in to making each week so wonderful! The children learn so many neat facts. They’ll often tell me something unique, and I’ll ask where they learned that, and sure enough it was in your class. I also find participating in your monthly classes gets us down to the wonderful museums we have free access to just a short drive from home. We are so grateful for the opportunity these classes each month give our family to learn and explore! Thank you!"

"I love these monthly classes!  They are interactive without requiring any preparation on my part, topical and in-depth without requiring background knowledge on my children's part, and a great incentive to explore the vast [FREE] resources of our state museums.

Even the topics that I think we already know about have hidden surprises that Ms. Nancy digs up for us.  There is no substitute for seeing, and sometimes touching, actual historic pieces while learning about them from someone with a passion for exploring their meaning and enhancing everyone's understanding."

"These classes make history more fun and make me want to learn more about history.  I like the really cool crafts that we make."

"The crafts are nice.  Ms. Nancy is nice.  It is pretty cool just to go there and spend the rest of the day in the history or science (right next door) museums."
