Film, Fun, and Community! Watch movies, meet filmmakers, and enjoy popcorn for free! Be part of our sixth annual Longleaf Film Festival at the Museum of History in downtown Raleigh. Multiple screenings, Movies-N-Moonlight, socials, panels, awards, a Wrap Party: Longleaf! Hosted by the North Carolina Museum of History, Longleaf Film Festival highlights the best of historic and contemporary stories through narrative and documentary features and shorts. This weekend festival screens films that demonstrate a Tar Heel State connection, through the people involved in making them or through their subject. Filmmakers with the designated North Carolina connections and all former Official Selection filmmakers are eligible to enter Longleaf.
