Pavelid’s Duo was founded in Chapel Hill NC in 2015 and features the talents of two exceptional musicians: Pavelid Castañeda and Agustin Gonzalez.

Born in Colombia, Pavelid Castañeda (Pavelid Castaneda Music) completed high school and university studies in Bogota, Colombia. Castañeda's life has been completely dedicated to music - he is a singer; music director, composer, and teacher, as well as a multi-instrumentalist who performs on accordion, cuatro, and piano. His main instrument remains the Llanera Harp - the folk harp of the plains of Colombia. His repertoire covers international and Latin American music. Castañeda has recorded numerous albums. His most recent one, Fiesta en Naranjal, is a family history expressed through his original compositions. Since 2008, Castañeda has also performed as harpist at the Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary.
