Daniels Auditorium, NC Museum of History
Speaker: Caitlyn Randall, Communication Specialist, North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
Join us for History at High Noon as we welcome Caitlyn Randall with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, who will give us the inside scoop on Got to Be NC’s new Homes in the Hometowns cookbook! The cookbook features "recipes from home kitchens across North Carolina," highlighting the local North Carolina farms, ingredients, and businesses that make each of these recipes so special!
Caitlyn Randall is a communication specialist with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. She is an alumna of North Carolina State University, and during her time there, she ran an on-campus farmer’s market. Randall married into a farming family but has always had a passion for advocating for farmers and small businesses. Many of her after-school evenings and summer days growing up were spent in her grandma’s kitchen, learning to cook. Her recently completed project is the Homes in the Hometowns Cookbook.
