Enjoy an afternoon with the Raleigh Flute Choir in the Daniels Auditorium at the North Carolina Museum of History!
Founded in 1986, the Raleigh Flute Choir is one of the nation’s leading professional flute choirs. Performing regularly throughout North Carolina, the ensemble has also played in Chicago, Orlando, Charleston, Williamsburg, and at the White House. Their varied repertoire ranges from arrangements of familiar orchestral pieces to world premieres of contemporary flute choir literature. The Raleigh Flute Choir has recorded four albums, with the most recent one, Kaleidoscope, available on iTunes and other streaming services.
At this year’s highly anticipated holiday concert, listeners will enjoy music that depicts images of the season through renditions of favorite Christmas carols, a medley of Chanukah tunes, and music celebrating the joy of snow.
