Located just inside the Jones Street entrance to the museum, across from the Legislative Building, Pharaoh’s at the Museum serves a variety of fresh and homemade favorites with a southern flair. Pharaoh's is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Whether you have a hot dog topped with fresh-made slaw, a dab of mustard, or some hearty made-from-scratch chili, an “eastern North Carolina” hamburger, or a sandwich stuffed with Pharaoh’s famous chicken salad, every item is carefully made to order. Pharaoh’s at the Museum also features salads and a soup of the day, milk shakes, floats, and sundaes.
Eat-in and carry-out service is available for regular customers. And, ask about daily specials! Independently owned and operated, a percentage of Pharaoh’s revenue is donated to support the museum.
Custom box lunches are available for tour groups, business meetings, and other functions with a 24-hour advance notice. A selection of brown bag lunches can be arranged for school groups with a two-week advance notice; school groups must eat outside the restaurant and the museum. Phone 919-807-7879 for information.
