The North Carolina Museum of History hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including corporate dinners, cocktail receptions, legislative receptions, business luncheons, meetings, wedding receptions, and holiday parties. Three spaces are available for rental:
The Museum Lobby
The Museum Lobby can accommodate up to 300 guests for a reception and up to 250 for a sit-down dinner. With room for a band and a dance floor, the lobby allows guests to enjoy music and dancing throughout the evening.
The Demonstration Gallery
The Demonstration Gallery is a unique setting, perfect for small meetings and lunches. Surrounded by three glass walls, the "glass box" has a wonderful view overlooking Bicentennial Plaza and the Legislative Building.
Daniels Auditorium, with a seating capacity of 300 and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, is the ideal setting for presentations, large meetings, and performances.
Arrangements can even be made for your guests to explore galleries and exhibits in the museum.
