In October 2019, the museum will open Toy Boom!, an exhibit focusing on toys from the baby-boomer generation and the insights they provide into that era. The baby-boomer era of the 1950s and 1960s was of great abundance, but also of great anxiety.
For this exhibit, the museum would like to collect stories from North Carolinians who grew up during that time period. Our goal is to feature some of these stories in Toy Boom, and we'll share others online.
If you are interested in sharing your own toy story, fill out the webform below. If you have any questions, email Katie Edwards at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please keep in mind that a high volume of submissions cause a delay in response time.
