Description:
In partnership with the Garner Performing Arts Center, the NC Museum of History invites you to bring your favorite craft supplies to a free showing of the classic World War II-era film Casablanca! The theater lights will stay slightly up during the movie, so you can work on your knitting, embroidery, coloring, or any other lap-friendly craft. Connect with others in the lobby throughout the program to view WW2 artifacts and reflect on the upcoming Veterans Day holiday with museum staff!
Disclaimer: Attendees must bring their own materials for crafting. Lap-friendly crafts are defined as art projects that can be contained to a single theater seat and that do not include the use of glue, paint, or glitter.
