Join the NC Museum of History at Book Harvest for a free storytime! We’ll read Mae Among the Stars by Roda Ahmed, a picture book based on the true story of Dr. Mae Jemison, the first African American woman to travel into space. After the story, we’ll explore North Carolina’s connections to the space race. Participants can also obtain a free copy of the book and make a take-home craft!
