A Pre-Visit Guide for Visiting the North Carolina Museum of History (NCMH)

Take a look at what you’ll see when you visit the North Carolina Museum of History!
If you travel to the NC Museum of History by car, you will need to find parking. Parking lots and street parking are available, both with ADA accessible spots.

Depending on where you park, it might take a couple of minutes to walk up to the building. You may have to cross a street, but there are crosswalks and sidewalks.
- The main entrance is near Edenton Street (pictured below). It has a big set of stairs and a ramp on the right.
There are two entrances to the museum. The entrance on Edenton Street (pictured above) has stairs and is currently locked. But keep walking towards the front of the museum. Right around the corner is an accessible ramp.
Once inside, you’ll see the Information Desk
