The North Carolina Museum of History, part of the Division of State History Museums within the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR), is excited to announce the opening of its Museum Shop in a new, walkable location in downtown Raleigh. The shop is now open at 108 Glenwood Avenue, bringing its beloved mix of North Carolina–inspired gifts and treasures to one of the city’s most vibrant corridors, with proceeds benefiting the North Carolina Museum of History Associates.
The Museum Shop highlights products inspired by the museum’s collection and the state’s history. Shoppers will discover handcrafted pottery, blown glass, turned wood, jewelry, specialty foods, books, toys, and more—each piece reflecting North Carolina’s artistry and traditions.
“We’re excited to welcome the community to our new Glenwood Avenue location,” said Lynn Brower, Director of Retail Operations. “The Museum Shop has always been about sharing the stories and creativity of North Carolina, and this new space gives us an even better opportunity to do just that—while continuing to provide the warm service our visitors expect.”
The Glenwood Avenue storefront is open now. For more information, visit ncmuseumofhistoryshop.com.
