The North Carolina Museum of History announces that the 25th annual African American Cultural Celebration has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 28, at the North Carolina Museum of Art. The celebration is postponed due to weather-related concerns to ensure a safe and welcoming experience for all participants and guests. Both museums are part of the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR).

The North Carolina Museum of History, part of the Division of State History Museums within the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR), is excited to announce the opening of its Museum Shop in a new, walkable location in downtown Raleigh. The shop is now open at 108 Glenwood Avenue, bringing its beloved mix of North Carolina–inspired gifts and treasures to one of the city’s most vibrant corridors, with proceeds benefiting the North Carolina Museum of History Associates.
